I know what it's like to have too much stuff.
I'VE BEEN ORGANIZING FOR AS LONG AS I CAN REMEMBER.
But I also used to hang onto EVERYTHING! And the sentimental attachment STRESSED. ME. OUT.
But I now understand the value of things and want to help everyone else get there too.
THIS IS WHY I CREATED A-LIST ORGANIZING!

I don’t want you to feel (unnecessarily) stressed out about your things. I want to teach you how to hang onto what you LOVE and NEED and let go of the rest, and then take your home to the next level by making it feel and look like your family.

I’ve been organizing and redesigning for as long as I can remember
but don’t get me wrong, I haven’t always lived a more minimalist life.
As a kid, my friends and I LOVED re-organizing or rearranging my room and toys. For me, everything had to be… “just so.” Born organizer and designer, right? Well… maybe. Truth be told, I held onto things. Big time. Don’t get me wrong, my room was super tidy and everything had its place, but I had more things than I needed! I’d hold onto every concert ticket — and t-shirt from said concert — every movie stub, every birthday and Christmas card — even Halloween candy! I just had so much emotional attachment to everything… that I couldn’t let go of anything!

After moving enough times I’ve lost count, I realized how much of a waste of energy it was to move things I don’t use. When I started to focus on the friendships and relationships in my life and the home I created in every new building, I realized the same things kept getting stuffed away at the back of the closet – the only place for them.

Then I just started letting go of those things and felt so free — and PROUD of myself. Gone were the days of a crying teenager that left the 3 Doors Down concert without a t-shirt (not my proudest moment).

And then I started helping friends. And they were in that same transition. They were moving and didn’t need to move with everything in their house. But they needed help! So I helped them purge, and get rid of those things they just didn’t need. I didn’t realize what I was doing until I mentioned it to my mom and she said, “You should start a business.”

I’ve been there before. AND have overcome it.
I can help push you – the right amount. I’m honest about what needs to change, but present it in a direct and considerate way.
I personalize my methods for you.
Life can be stressful enough and I don’t want your things making your home — and mind — feel cluttered and depressing.
I truly want you to feel that same relief I felt because it is… FREEING!!

I love spending time with my husband, Mike, and our dogs, Jaq and Tonks.
I also love checking out HGTV and the online world to see how I can re-design an area in a client or friend's home. When I'm really in the zone, Mike calls it my “busy beeing,” always buzzing and doing stuff around the house.
When it’s time to do NOTHING, I usually settle for watching a TV show I’ve seen a million times like Gilmore Girls.

When I'm not working...

Okay, let's do this!
Let me know if you have any questions and I’ll be glad to help answer them for you.
